- Families are encouraged to review the other sections of this website including the FAQ section to find out more about the GBYO Association.
- The GBYO will hold auditions for the 2009-2010 season in May and June. These auditions are for new students and current students who wished to be considered for placement in another orchestra. We anticipate openings for almost every orchestral instrument.
- When the GBYO receives your application, you will be assigned an audition time based on your top three choices. We will contact you to confirm this time. (If none of your times are available, we will contact you to re-schedule.)
- Loyola students may audition in one of two ways: (1) on-campus by appointment, or (2) by video by June 15th. Video auditions must contain the full amount of solo music and entire excerpt (no scales) without editing. Please call 410-617-1524 or email auditions@gbyo.com to schedule a time or for more information.
- Please download and review all the applicable following forms. String players who are not sure which orchestra they should audition for should download the requirements for both and consult their private teacher.
- All: General application form (.pdf)
- All: General audition information for both orchestras (.pdf)
- Audition requirements for CS (.pdf)
- Audition requirements for YO (.pdf)
- Percussion Requirements (.pdf)
- All: Direction to the two Loyola campuses
If you would prefer to receive the forms by mail, please check the box on the application form or call 410-617-1524 . (See also below about downloading files.)
